Dr. Marina Berns Kahana, M.A. Ph.D.
Marina Kahana is a health and social psychologist passionate about sharing research-driven strategies to create equitable and healthy work environments.
As an experienced public speaker and educator on topics including how to build an inclusive organizational culture, implicit bias, equitable hiring practices, and interventions to reduce bias, Marina Kahana’s Insight Unmasked translates up-to-date behavioral economics research to develop persuasive tactics in business, and health-promoting interventions.
Marina Kahana has a Masters Degree in Community Counseling from Loyola University Chicago and a Ph.D. in Health Psychology from University of Calfornia - Irvine. She has taught over 10 years at universities including University of California Irvine and Chapman University.
Marina is active in her community, serving on boards including Jewish Federation of Orange County, Girl Scouts, and Little League. In her spare time, Marina is an avid hiker and reader. She enjoys travel and exploring small towns in distant countries.
